Our priorities for Twickenham:
* Opposition to Heathrow Expansion
* Investment in world class public services: the West Middlesex
Hospital; walk-in centres open late; schools being refurbished
and rebuilt throughout the borough
* Opposing the sell off of public land at the Riverside
* Protecting green space and gardens from over-development: No
to garden grabbing
* Supporting effective local policing through our excellent Safer
Neighbourhood Policing Teams
* Investing in people: protecting the Minimum Wage and the London
Living Wage; Education Maintenance Allowances helping people complete
their education; the Freedom Pass helping our older and vulnerable
residents get around
For too long, local politics in Twickenham has been
characterised by tit-for-tat mud-slinging between the Liberals
and the Tories.
Twickenham
Labour knows that Twickenham would benefit from a fresh voice
on the Council. It's time for a change. For well-funded public
services and a greener Twickenham, vote Twickenham Labour.
